Insurance

I highly encourage you to log into your insurance provider’s online member portal. Checking your eligibility and benefits online is the fastest way to get a real-time, detailed breakdown of your acupuncture coverage and deductibles.

In-Network Coverage

I am currently an in-network provider with UnitedHealthcare. If your annual deductible has been met, your plan will begin covering your treatment costs, and you will only be responsible for your standard copayment or coinsurance. Additionally, if you have already reached your plan's maximum out-of-pocket limit for the year, your treatment costs may be covered in full. 

Out-of-Network PPO Plans

If you carry a PPO plan with another major carrier (such as Cigna, Aetna, or Anthem Blue Cross), your treatments may still be covered. I also highly recommend exploring some of the larger multi-provider acupuncture clinics located right around the Noe Valley area. Exclusions & Sliding Scale

Please note that I am unable to accept Kaiser, Medi-Cal, or Medicare at this time. If your plan lacks acupuncture coverage, please contact me to discuss sliding scale options so we can ensure your care remains accessible.
